Owen gave me my start as an intern for Valleywag - I had a nice run of 4 or 6 months until Gawker Media had to restructure due to the crummy economy.? Owen stuck it out and it bore favorable fruit - he's now an employee of the Peacock network along with Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey and Conan O'Brien.?
