Let me sidetrack you for a second - even if I'm not working directly on a project I'm always looking for content that might be useful later.  Enter Archive.org - the Live Music Archives are a great source of free, open-source music that I can use to make a great soundtrack.  Check it out - it ranges from the complete unknown artists to the Grateful Dead and the Smashing Pumpkins.  These three tracks seemed interesting to me - I hear them and the movie seems to spring up in which they belong.  This is primarily for JPF but anyone else is welcome to comment.
